Support EPUB

I would like MM to support the EPUB format, the e-book standard.

MM wouldn't necessarily have to be able to actually display the books (that would be a premium).
I would first of all like to manage my e-books with MM so that I can manage them in one collection with my audiobooks.

Would it be possible to use the virtual CD feature as a work around? I can't find information to figure that out, maybe somebody has tried this before?
