Synch more than 10 episodes of podcasts to USB flash drive

Post by Gronk »

I synch podcasts from MM onto a USB flash drive for car trips.
At the moment, there is a limit of 10 episodes, or every episode ever (which can be thousands in some cases).
I would like to synch more episodes, without having to do everything: is there a work-around that would allow me to synch something like 20 or 50 episodes?

Not in that setting, but you can create an AutoPlaylist and have it limited to a custom number.

That sounds great, Lowlander.
I can't see how to do it, though. An Autoplaylist allows me to specify the following criteria:
Title, Artist, Composer, Podcast, Genre, Date, Comment, Lyrics.
I'm probably missing something obvious, but how can I use these to specify that I want the most recent 20 (or 50 or whatever) episodes of a set of podcasts?

You set the Criteria to Podcast and set it 1 Podcast (so if you have multiple Podcast you will need multiple AutoPlaylists), then limit it to x files and Sort on Date or Added (use Advanced tab in AutoPlaylist settings).

I see, so it will need an upgrade to Media Monkey Gold. I have not done that upgrade yet; I'll look into it.
Thanks for your help with this.
