1491 - Rating playing item causes buffer/timer jump [#8549]

When rating items timer jumps back and once audio buffer runs out it repeats from that segment on... pretty serious stuff.

Should I make another topic for this? Might be related to #8178? Maybe? It haunts again?

As demonstrated, if I rate the song often enough it plays buffer segments in reverse till start of song... haha

No--thanks, though. We're able to replicate, but are holding off for 4.0.5 since a fix would involve major changes, and likely result in other regressions.

And today is totally fine, no idea what the heck caused it to glitch out... although I did realize you shouldn't allow users to rate a track the same rating it currently is... :lol:
