That was it. Thanks.

Now that it's installed, how do I invoke it? I was expecting to see it on the scripts list.
Oops, sorry never mind. I didn't read the opening instructions before posting question. Shame on me.

It is very cool...

All time nice hits...
But one question....

In the now playing window the selected record is not the current playing song, so the album art is not showing...
Or do i missed something?

I can't get it to work ... but I also had previously installed the Winamp plug in.

Now, I see the Last.fm service option in MediaMonkey - but what plugins do I need enable in the Last.fm software. No scrobbling is happening right now.

Just an observation, but I've noticed that the plug-in appears to repeat songs frequently. Over the course of an hour or so of listening starting with one selected song and letting the plug-in pick the rest, it will repeat a couple of songs a couple of times. One suggestion for the next go around would be to not repeat songs in any one session.

Hello everyone,

I love the concept of the Auto DJ function but I am getting a recurring message that is puzzling: "Last.fm DJ located the artist Last.fm but no related artists were found in your library or your settings are too restrictive. Adding a track from the backup playlist." I have about 5,000 rock tracks that cover the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. I typically seed a session with a well known artist from this period but invariably get the above message most of the time when a new track is added. I am using the default settings in the configure dialog. Any ideas?

Thanks,

trajan

Maybe my collection is too big, but autodj is just like having mm on random. The song selection makes no sense at all :/

You should be ashamed of yourselves for releasing an install package like http://www.mediamonkey.com/beta/Last.fm ... .1.12.mmip

1. ControlName needs to come before caption on checkboxes
2. No Uninstall.ini
3. Includes Last.fm DJ.mmip

I'm not surprised that I wasn't able to get tracks scrobbled considering the poor attention to detail on the installation package.

I might have persisted in trying to get it to work if I didn't recieve the reinstall error (because it didn't uninstall) and had to manually remove the script/plugin etc not to mention leaving my login and password in mediamonkey.ini

Unfortunately, that was the limit of MM at the time of plugin release.

New plugin will fix that.

The plugin (dll) may be beta and limited but the install package and the .vbs script certainly wasn't/isn't which is the point of my post

Less than 5 mins to fix and rerelease the install package :(

@MoDementia
I wish that it was simple like that, try to delete gen_LastFMScrobbler.dll while MM is open :(

@bFunk
Next beta Plugin is working very well in our internal testing and is ready for release and it will be released as soon as new MM beta cycle starts.

Yes I know that is a problem but no reason not to delete the script and the mediamonky.ini section

A note in the first post to say you have to manually delete blah blah after MM is shutdown certainly wouldn't hurt either :(
