We're beginning another round of beta testing for MediaMonkey 4.0.5 (yes--we skipped 4.0.4, an internal release). It's going to be a minor release that'll include a few fixes and minor features. We plan on a fairly short release cycle.
This initial build includes ~50 improvements. Please let us know what you think.
Note: There's also a new build of the MediaMonkey Codec Pack that will be posted shortly.
Only 1 new fix for this build: iOS5 support. Whoo hoo!
It's hot off the press, and hasn't undergone much testing, so play carefully and make sure your iOS device is backed up.
Please let us know your results for testing on iOS devices. Thanks.
This build fixes a couple more sync issues (hopefully it'll recognize iOS 5 devices for those who've had problems getting MM to see the device).
Note that if you're testing iOS5 devices with earlier 4.0.5 beta builds, you should delete everything from the device in MM, sync a single track via iTunes, and then continue using MM (there remain a couple of known issues of iTunes interfering with MM sync).
Here's a new build that fixes all remaining reproducible iOS5 sync issues + an album art problem related to firefox 12. Thanks to all of you who've helped test and debug this--I hope that this latest build will prove worth your efforts.
This build fixes a few more synchronization issues + misc fixes. iOS 5 synchronization seems to be working for most users--please let us know if you notice any remaining problems.
We're happy to announce the first release candidate of MediaMonkey 4.0.5 (meaning that it fixes all known 'urgent' issues that were planned for this release). This build adds 8 more fixes including some to iOS device synchronization, Album Art handling, Party mode, etc.
We hope to post a final release shortly, so please let us know if you notice any remaining urgent issues.
We've made one small change in this second release candidate to improve UPnP/DLNA connectivity for the PS3. Unless any new issues are discovered, we expect to release this build imminently.
Please let us know if you notice any urgent issues.
