1344:Scanning WDDM incorrectly reports size is slow [#7217]

Syncing with a Blackberry which is detected as WDDM

The device has a 8GB card in it with about 6.5GB of MP3 files. However Mediamonkey's "capacity" Progress bar says the following:
Capacity: 7.5GB
Audio: 11.0GB
Video: 40.0MB
Other: 377.6MB
Free: 0B

Actual free space is about 1GB, misc files and videos to the tune of about 100MB and 6.5GB of MP3s.
Thus it's counter is WAY off. It seemed to grow at an incrementally incorrect figure the entire time, as though it was double-counting or similar.


Also, it took about 30 minutes to scan the 6.5GB and a good second per MP3 for 1700 MP3 tracks.

Hi,

same problem here. I got a Samsung Galaxy S which is identified as two WDDMs (Driveletter E and F).

Mediamonkey is calculating the left space wrong, identifies files as audio which are't audiofiles and cant seperate between those two driveletters.
When I try to sync my Music to F: it ignores my whish, insteed MM copies the music to E:.

Thanks, the problem with size indicator reported by Phyre will be fixed in build 1346:

But the problem of identifing one WMDM device as two (Driveletter E and F) is indeed strange, I haven't seen it, could you test build 1345 and generate debug log in case the problem persists. Does it fail to recognize also if you plug the device before start of MediaMonkey?

Hi, it seems the problem wasnt solved with 1345.
MM still recognizes both devices as drive E, however MM does good in recognizing my devices while its open and before the start.

and assigned to myself for debugging, probably the problem is related to the fact that both the memories have same USB ID = USB\VID_04E8&PID_681C&MI_02\1000ABF740DC_02
and thuss MM thinks that it is the same device somehow.

There is another think that would help us,
for both the Samsung nodes please go to [Options] sheet, select 'Device Profile' node and click [Export device options...] button and save your profile to a MMDC file and attach both the MMDC files here,

do you make process with fixin this?

I also noticed that MM does not regognice my pathsettings for autosync. instead syncing my music like "\Music\<Artist> - <Title>" it just copies everything like "\00 - <Title>", changing the path-settings doesnt change anything.

just installed 1351 and IMHO its worser then before

1. Autosync isnt working at all. Stops everytime after preparing the filelist. However it will be synchronised if I reset the configuration for this device to the default. After changing "Auto conversation" or "Target" it wont sync, and I dont want MM to convert all my files and save it to the wrong folder.
The only change I can differ is, MM now syncs everything to external SD instead to the internal SD, even when I'm selecting autosync on the internal SD.

2. MM recognizes both drives in the wrong order. F=E and E=F
This will cause in a strange behavior. The Music on F is listed in MM on E, the Music on E is listed in MM on F. Its quite confusing.
