Android sync playlist problems (Xperia Arc)

Th phone syncs well with MM except for playlists (.pla playlists). I.e the songs in the playlists gets synced but not the playlists themselves. upon further investigation I think I now why.

If I create a playlist directly on the phone it works and the first character in the playlist is a:


In the playlists created by MM the first character is:
&

So it seems that MM is creating the playlists in an incorrect way, possible due to some code page problems?
Anyone else that can reproduce?

For Android phones .m3u playlists are normally created, it doesn't happen in your case?

No it doesn't. Manually created playlists as well as playlists created by MM are .pls playlists.

Is it MM 4.0 in the default configuration using d_WMDM plug-in? The phone is in mass-storage mode, or does it have any specific MTP mode unlike other Android phones normally have?

I have the same problem with my Xperia Arc. And its not stolen yet. Playlists are not syncronized. Big problem!

M3U-Playlists are copied to the phone, but never deleted during the sync.
