MonkeyTunes & MM 4.0.5 portable

Been trying to set up MM 4.0.5 with MonkeyTunes with a portable installation -- not getting it to work. See details in the thread in the MT forum:

The COM object isn't installed with the portable version, so you need to install the regular (not portable) version.

Were we able to get this resolved? Typically a user just has to install Full MM on their PC first which loads the COM object into the registry as long as at the end of the installation when it says "Launch MediaMonkey Now?" you say YES.

Let me know if it is still not resolved?

I'm unable to replicate the problem. Here's what I did:

1) Installed MM (normal) in Program Files x86 directory and MM (portable) to a temp directory - build 1494
2) Installed MonkeyTunes to the MM (normal) directory
3) Ran MM (normal) and closed it
4) Copied the MonkeyTunes directory from MM (normal) plugins directory to MM (portable) plugins directory
5) Copied MonkeyTunes.vbs from MM (normal) scripts/auto directory to the MM (portable) scripts/auto directory
6) Ran MM (portable)
