I had 2 playlists sync'd to my MMA. 'Samsung Positive Changes' and 'Samsung G3'. In testing a reported problem of error after viewing video I created a new playlist 'samsung g3 movies'. I went to Tools->Options->Portable Device Sync the went to the device 'SCH-I35 Card' and selected the new playlist which brings the total to 3.
After unplugging and plugging the phone back in it 'sync'd as should. Except now the playlists on MMA do not show 'Samsung G3'.
This images should show most of the facts. I continue to investigate but this seems oddly new

By the way it didn't remove any music but simply the playlist from MMA (and the playlist tree for the phone)

Re: 1672-Sync error with MMA-Lost Playlist
Isn't the 'Samsung G3' playlist empty in MMW?
If not, then debug log (item 4b here: http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewto ... ?f=6&t=341 ) should show more.

Re: 1672-Sync error with MMA-Lost Playlist
Okay .. so here is what is happening and a *new* problem (or as i tell my clients an opportunity to make it user proof)
I have music on 2 drives (Artists 1-t on my 1 gig drive and U-Z sharing space on one of my vid drives). I *think* that the 1 gig drive was off the last couple of times that I plugged my phone in. That means that some of the songs in the play list would not be accessible .. BUT some of them would be. I would *think* that because some of them were ... and especially since the playlist was available nothing would be deleted.
Now the new ... thingy ... Drives whirling ... phone plugged in and 'preparing ... ' message now gone. I go to my phone and look and see this ..
NOW i have 2 Samsung G3 lists (in MMW only 1 as seen above) AND they have different track counts .. oh my .. what have i done now
I do have a log of the session if you want to see it.

Re: 1672-Sync error with MMA-Lost Playlist
Okay ... as an added oddity, this morning the playlists on MMA shows just a single G3 playlist. So all is .... good? Still wonder why this all happened (no play list .. then multiple play list) but will leave it to SW oddity Thanks

Re: 1672-Sync error with MMA-Lost Playlist
I suffered this same issue syncing a Samsung device over USB. Tried everything with much hair-pulling.
Finally I got my UPnP/DLNA server going in MMW (dynamic addressing didn't work for me - I had success by inputting my computer's IP address and port 4000). Once I got the server status to "running" my MMA found the server straight away. I then performed a WiFi sync and all is great.

Everything worked fine for me but today the Connection keeps failing.
Even syncing via USB is failing
