NO Chinese displayed on taskbar and system tray on W2K

Post by Guest »

Firstly I would say it is much better than 2.2 on Unicode support. However, I still found it was a bit weak in this area

on Windows 2000 Professional:

1. Windows taskbar, system tray (pop-up), and title bar ofn the Player in MM don't display Chinese.
2. in Directionary (left), FileList (upper-right) and "Now Playing" (lower-right) panels, only 60% time Chinese displayed correctly, the other 40% time only display strange characters. Refresh (F5) does not seem to help. However, once it displayes correctly (any panel), it stays
3. WMA format has much better chance than MP3 to display Chinese correctly. don't know why
