Tagging Errors - Not working properly...

Greetings,

I'm facing some issues on tagging the names on the songs. Let's say, what I've found the issues during renaming a lot of Chinese songs from traditional characters to simplified, like most the songs, albums, artist names, etc.. so while i attempt to do the character conversions, it happened to show "xxx (numbers) of files to be tagged" and it just hang on there without any activities, except it eats up half of my processor's power (i can see it from the task manager icon).

what's up with the issues? somehow, i tried many times tagging the files, besides the chinese characters, whenever i restart MM, the tagging didn't do a thing, no changes, some may have but seems like redo again really annoying.

perhaps anyone who has more understanding to fix this up? i used mp3tag for the last resort to re-tag all the chinese characters for now. if conveniently, i hope the developers take a serious note on these issues. I use this player for work, and definitely plays an important tool for me.

anyone besides developers who can provide useful resolution, feel free to drop some comments here.
