Auto-sync with sansa clip+ SD-Card

Hello,

Auto-Syncing in MTP mode (not "Auto") with the internal Memory works very well (MM V4.0.3).

But not with the SD-Card on the sansa Clip+.

Every time MM is telling that there were files on the device not included in the Database, which should be delted. Afterward all this files are transfered again to the sansa.

The files are stored in a folder named "numeric code + album interpret".

Every time MM is syncing the sansa, MM is adding a new folder with a different numeric code (the old folder are nearly empty).

All this doesn't happen with the internal memory.

I hope this issue is fixed in the meantime.


I'm new to MM 4.0.3 (don't know the V3.x version) .....
MM has a lot of fine features, but in the moment I'm faced with some serious bugs (playlists not working in MTP mode; corupting tags with podcasts ....).

I have repeated testing with 4.0.5.1487 - but its still the same.

I have only MP3-files, and the issue is reproduceable.

But I think, I have now more informations:

1. I manually delete all MP3 files on the SD-card
2. Start MM and uncheck all syncs with sansa clip+ external SD.card
3. Maunally start "Autosync" (there is nothing to sync = OK)
4. I select a genre with 7 MP3 files to sync.
5. Maunally start "Auto sync" (the files are copied/synct to the sansa = OK)
6. Repeated "Autosync" about 5x (there ist nothing to sync = OK)
7. Unpluged the snasa from USB port (the sansa database is actualized)
8. Connect the sansa again to the USB port
9. Manually start "Autosync" (from now on with every reconnect MM wants to delete and resync the MP3 files )

I have testet the same with the internal Memory of the sansa clip+. Unpluging and replug is showing no issues.

Try using the USBMass1.dll plugin for The Clip+. Also copy the file and rename it USBMass2.dll in the plugin directory and use the USB2Mass.dll plugin for the sd card.
Also try going back one firmware and then reinstalling latest formware.
I was having a terrible time with the SD card syncing properly (out of memory, slow syncs) in MSC mode and it's working okay now after doing those things
