Can not copy & paste image from web [#9321]

MM was working fine with tagging, now i can not search with auto tag, it doesn't work. i use to edit album art thru properties, copy & paste images from Google search, NOW I CAN'T PASTE no images at all, and YES I've uninstalled MM several times, same result. i tried different versions from 3.0 to 4.3 latest version, same thing. Sometimes i notice MM tags the image to file then a few days later image is gone. if there is an answer or solution to this bug please let me know. until then, i'm searching online for an alternate software to tag my files with.

What version of MM? It's working okay for me. What browser are you copying from?

Weird. I'm suddenly having this problem, too. I hadn't updated recently, and I use the feature heavily and regularly...no changes I can think of or imagine in the interim. Any copied images still paste fine into, say, Paint.

aha. Worked from Chrome--not FireFox. Interesting.

Seems you can't copy/paste from Firefox (using google images on this occasion) but you can save as and paste to your PC then using properties artwork add/select from desktop/paste works

Solved, issue not being able to copy/paste images from the web to the album art property seems to be at least for me is Firefox, don't know why, but started with the recent update 11.0 or 12.0. i switch over to internet explorer and its working fine now, not my favorite browser. i read a post that its also working with Google.
