All tracks/podcasts grey, don't play (sync yes)

I last listened to music on Mediamonkey yesterday morning. About mid-day, I shut down my PC and unplugged everything to move it out of the way. I plugged everything back in and I have all functionality except the tracks don't play (podcasts either). I click on them, and they start turning grey as it scrolls down through the queue like dominoes. The strangest thing is that the music/podcasts sync and play on my mp3 device. The files are all physically on my hard drives, and it even found some new tracks that I moved from C: to D:.
I have logged on and even deleted and reloaded the library, to no avail. I am hoping someone has had and resolved this same issue.

Google or Wiki didn't help, but I actually searched here and the problem was very simple, I had simply forgotten to plug in the speaker. As the person who had the same problem said, it would have been nice to get a "no audio device detected" error. Oh well, but I'm back in business.
