Hi, I noticed something weird yesterday:
When I startup MM, it was configured to scan/update my music directory on my NAS.
Yesterday I terminated the scan at the point where it said "Adding 84123 of 101123 (\\path_of_the_file)" (which is odd actually since I have about 88500 songs in my DB), I do that sometimes if nothing changed in the directory.
By coincidence I found out that a couple of albums were not in the DB anymore, but they were on the NAS and have been there for ages.
After a rescan they were back in the DB.
so my question is:
When you terminate the scan, could it be that you loose the info of the mp3's in between X and Y in "Adding X of Y " ?
I don't know how else I can explain the fact that I lost the albums in MM.
For now I stopped the automatic scanning of my music collection at startup.
btw: I have the latest goldmember-version on Windows 7 x64
loosing album/mp3 info when terminating scan?

No, terminating scan should not result in files being removed from the Library.
The total number is all files found in the scanned folder including Artwork, CUE, text, lyrics files as well as any other file.sko wrote:which is odd actually since I have about 88500 songs in my DB
