Hey Guys,
Im new here but im having kind of a funky issue.
First issue is that my artists are showing as random characters in the tree mode. Pretty much making it impossible to know what is what.
Here is an image of the artists:

Second is slowness. My MediaMonkey locks up alot. My music is on a 3TB 6gbps drive, and the portable install is on an SSD. It took forever to scan my library and add the music. (45k songs, 310 GB) When i say it took forever it took like 6 hours, not sure if it should be but that i can wait for not a big deal. The real problem comes to just using the program. Switching views or loading different trees is painfully slow and puts MM in a not respoding state but eventually it will return to normal. Is there something i can do to alleviate this?

Not sure how the error could happen but here is how you should fix it:
1. Go to Entire library -> Genre Tree node
2. Enable Genre column and Select all tracks without Genre (should be around 210)
3. Edit properties on all of them
4. Tick Check box for genre and ensure that it is empty
5. After that press OK
6. use File -> maintain library and enable Rebuild full text search and choose Quick optimize
7. when done restart MediaMonkey and all should be back to normal.
Let us know the result.
