4.1.24.1883: Access Violation in Mediamonkey.exe after rename in playlist [#15583]

I've actually had this a long time. I figured it worth waiting for the next release before reporting it, hoping it would be fixed, as it's such an obvious bug. But not so, and maybe it's just me.

I get this error after pressing F2 to rename a track in the playlist, and then pressing Tab to move focus. Also Shift+Tab does the same. After the issue has occured, no matter where focus is, Tab will cause the error to occur.

I am using a quite old skin (Delletronic), so *maybe* this is the issue, but I doubt it. I will test with another skin.
EDIT: Skin is not the issue.

Below is the log from running with the Debug build. Also including log from Nirsoft 'SimpleProgramDebugger' if it helps.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BhtVUN ... h0jyM/view

NOTE: When using the Debug build, triggering the error caused the bug report dialog to pop up, so I sent it and referred to this report.

Hi,
No unfortunately that debugger do not help, but when error dialog shows you should have DETAILS link in dialog text where you can select Copy to Clipboard.

After Debug log sending, you can paste that info in TXT file and send link to me in PM.

Hello Peke, thanks for the reply.
I've already sent a couple of error reports in the automated system, have you received them on your side?

I will also send you the file as a PM in case.

Thanks!

H,
could you please re-submit the error reports to the automated system with user id Pathduck or email address so that I can locate the crash logs?
Thanks!

Hello Ludek - I will be happy to, but do you mean the automated crash system in Mediamonkey Debug or the support/ticket system? I have submitted a crash just now in the automated system.

For ticket #YKD-756-67655 I have already submitted the files created when I was assisted online in the last post of the ticket.

Do you want me to recreate the error again?

Hi,
thanks for the logs and ticket reference.
I've got the crash log now, was confused by the email -- as it came from stianlund (and not from pathduck).

BTW: Do you use multiple monitors (screens) environment?
Does this issue happen only when MM window isn't on the main monitor -- or the monitor where the MM window is placed does not matter?

FYI: The issue has been fixed as https://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=15583 and will be included in the next build (once 4.1.15 beta testing round begins)

Thank you Ludek and Pavle for your help on this strange crashing issue, this was indeed a rare one :D
I will wait for the next beta and let you know it it's fixed.

To answer your question, even though I'm sure it's not related to a multi-monitor setup; I have three monitors:
1. TV @ 1920x1080 60hz
2. Monitor 1920x1200 60hz (I don't use this a lot)
3. Monitor 2560x1440 120hx (Primary when TV is not used)

I have tried to move MM to another display and it still triggers the crash.

Apologies for the late update - I've tested with the latest beta release and the issue appears to be solved. Will update if I discover any regression on this matter.

Thanks! :D
