Playlist export ignores utf8 settings in options

Post by anademedeiros »

I got a lot of songs and artists with foreign names using utf8 chars.
When I try to export playlists containing such songs, an ANSI file gets written instead of utf8. I have checked for the export settings in options in "tags & playlists" and it is set to "use utf8 encoding for m3u playlists".

Sorry if the text does not exactly match, I am using a german version and have to assume the english settings text.

Is there anything I can do to get a valid utf8 encoded playlist?

Thank you
