Jo,

The people of Norway deserve a localized version of MediaMonkey :-)

If you need _any_ help with this, please e-mail me directly.

I'm willing to do localization work (Norwegian) too.

I'm willing to do localization work (Norwegian) too.

I can do some parts. I have just downloaded the localization kit (may I call it that?) and will try to localize as much as I can. Maybe we can work together on this, but we need to tell each other what we are translating so we don't do each others work. That would just be plain silly.

The following paragraph is in Norwegian and is a private note to chapparal:

Joda. Flott at jeg fant noen andre som var villige til å jobbe med en oversettelse. Som jeg skrev på engelsk i dette innlegget så vil jeg koordinere arbeidet litt. Så hvis du kan skrive en liste over det du har oversatt (seksjonene) så hadde det vært flott.

Why do you use so long time?

Hvorfor bruker dere så lang tid på å oversette? Det hadde vært fint med en norsk versjon også. Jeg kan dessverre ikke hjelpe dere med å oversette, men håper på at dere er ferdig om ikke så alt for lang tid

Just wondered how much you guys have left?

Jeg bare lurer på hvor langt dere er kommet. Jeg prøvde så smått å oversette noen seksjoner, men det er noen ord som er ganske vanskelig. Hvis dere står fast, er det jo bare å spørre!

I can't read Norwegian and so can't contact the author. Could someone do it and e-mail it to us so that the translation could be included in the next release?

Thanks,
Jiri

It's me who have translated it to Norwegian. Already spoken to Rusty, but he haven't respond to my latest pm regarding translating it to 2.5.

Maybe you can tell what to do to get it ready for 2.5?

Glad to hear you are ready for translation for 2.5, the strings should stabilize in about a week and translations will begin then. Let's include Norwegian then...

Sounds good for me, do I have to do the translation all over then, or do I update with the .pot files?

It's only about translating newly added or modified strings, i.e. it's very easy and fast job.
