Localization for MM 2.4 can begin!

Post by rusty »

MediaMonkey 2.4 is ready to localize. We don't expect to make any string changes between now and release unless some errors are discovered in the interim.

In terms of timing, we're expecting at least one additional release candidate. If you're able to get the translations in within the next week (or more specifically by 5/22/2005), that would be great, since we're hoping to launch soon.

Up-to-date localization instructions are at:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/contrib/loca ... ctions.txt

The English source files along with the most recently submitted localized translations are at:
http://www.mediamonkey.com/contrib/loca ... -local.zip

Please let me know if you're able to complete the localization.

Updated localization files for RC-1

Post by rusty »

Hi,

I've updated the localization files for RC-1. Changes are:
-fixed problem with DB.POT file
-fixed missing localization strings in the about dialog: "License:" and "Lifetime to"

The files are at their normal location of: http://www.mediamonkey.com/contrib/loca ... -local.zip

Second updated today

Post by rusty »

note: I've posted a second update to the localization source files today to correct the following issue raised by Octopod.
I tried the updated strings but now that "Lifetime" is translated, "to" i missing; ie. the whole string is partially translated into "Xxxxx to user"
Let me know if you want the translated files in the current state or if you're about to fix it.
It's posted to the usual location.

Updated localization files for RC-1

I've posted another update to the default.pot file--there were a couple of localization string missing with respect to iPod synchronization.

The file is in the usual location.

Sorry for the inconvenience
