Erm, no, that's not what I'm looking for. The XL skin is enormous and meant for TVs. I only use MediaMonkey at my desktop. All what I'm looking for is a slightly different "Mini-Player" skin where the CD Cover Art is about twice as big as in the current version.

Something that would be cool, too, but probably something completely different from the Vision skin would be an Mini Player that simpy shows the cover art as a Vinyl Envelope with an Vinyl partly showing. Something like this:

Thanks glad you like the skin

Sorry ,have no plans like this at the moment.

Maybe you can extract the Big floatplayer from XL Version , and use it in your normal skin ( just works/looks nice on Black backgrounds )
Did you look for CD Art Display program ,There are many skins that looks similar like your screenshot , and can be run together with MM.

I'd use CD Art Cover if I was able to load the PlugIns for MediaMonkey... They would even not show up :(

But, thanks for your answer.

Just wanted to add to the love of this skin :D Very Nice! Thank you.
I need some help with this skin and MM4. The tabs, menu back ground and some of the font colors need to be worked on. I'm a total newbie with skinning and have tried to modify the tabs and font colors but keep striking out. Any help on this would be great.

1) Menu bar ( File Tools etc.) & MM4 tabs are dark & the text is dark. I think this is controlled by the win7 aero (which I like and would like to keep) How do I adjust this?

2) Option Menu and other Pop Menus are bright white which makes it hard to focus on the darker sections. What needs to be changed to darken these?

3) I like to use the Album/ details view it has text in between each section or group or albums this is dark and can't be seen. What needs to be changed to correct this?

If there are no plans to update this I'm willing to help but need some instruction on how best to correct these items.

Greetings

Thanks ,
sure i want to update this skin for MM4 ,
but at the moment MM4 comes with some Skinning relevant bugs,
and not everything works right,
I already post the most of this bugs to Petr , but he have a very long to do list :-?
but i hope Petr can fix this things before MM4 comes out ,
and until these bugs are fix i will wait with MM3 Skin Updates.

1)
Menu bar ( File Tools etc.) .just need a different background image
Tab text color not editable at the moment.(at last i can't bring it to work)
2)
This is also a MM4 bug ( i also report this )
3)
I'm not sure if this is editable now in MM4 ( in MM3 it was not ) but it should be !

Well i think you mean it looks somehow gritty, this behavior comes from the AlbumArtOverlay ( this round glass effect )
I hope this is fix in the next MM version,
If you can't live with this, open the FloatPlayer .mskn with ThemeEditor7 and delete the AlbumArtOverlay Object

Need help? Got a suggestion? Can't find something?

Greetings

It's done !
Most of the black / dark skin bugs are fixed,
also the AlbumArt Overlay bug :D ( Thanks to Petr ).
So i start to update the vision skin,
at the moment it looks like this: (XP version)

In this screenshot i use a lite modified Pulse icon set (original created by Dreadlau) i like how it looks on Vision skin :)
I'm not sure if should keep it, or use the original Vision Icons ?

looks good so for. this icon set looks better imo.
i still like it better on winxp that the menu bar is next to the tabs. they should also do it for win7...

DreadM, thanks so much for this skin; it looks really good. I HAVE TO have a dark skin, so thanks.

I have a question about fonts. The standard font is not the prettiest and I really would love any/all skins to use Calibri or Segoe UI.

I can't remember which one gives the real classy look but I did once (a long time ago) change the fonts in another skin using ThemeEditor7.

Those fonts (or one of them, I can't remember which) really transform MM into a classy bit of kit. You get the clear-type look.

I can change them myself but am reluctant to do that as I'd have to do it again every time you update the skin and it's long-winded as you know.

Have there been any improvements in MM4 to make changing the fonts easier?

Many thanks again, DreadM.

Thanks :D

Well I'm not a Font expert,
Most players have Calibri or Segoe UI fonts but not the themes
i think it#s a compatible problem with XP systems , where are no Calibri or Segoe UI fonts are used by default

Thanks, DreadM.

I'll write a post aimed at them. MM looks so great with that clear type look.
