No Space Between Lyrics And Comment

Postby dypsis » Sun Jan 24, 2010 7:16 pm

Hi DreadM. Thanks for the updates.

I just noticed a small problem with the Lyrics and Comment Viewer skin.
The word "Comment" is hard up against the Lyrics without any space between them.
Maybe the word "Comment" would be better below the line.

There needs to be some defining space or line between them.
I have posted images of the Vision skin and the Noir skin to display how Noir has an obvious space between the Lyrics and the word "Comment", but the Vision skin does not.

Speaking of liking dark skins ... I'm more of a semi-dark kind of guy, lots of grays, etc. but you've always done such great work that I thought I'd give this one a look and much too my surprise, I like it. So it's going onto my short list of skins to keep and use. Well done as always, Dread. :D

Like I said earlier, I love this skin. It is probably my favorite. So please don't take my feedback as being ungrateful.

I'm wondering if it is possible for you to make the MonkeyRok and Song Information Panel scroll bars the same style as the rest of the scrollbars in the Vision skin? ... or is it a limitation of the scripts?

Here is a screen shot in case that doesn't make sense.

This is the MonkeyRok scrollbar

And this is the scrollbar in the Vision Skin.

Thank you!

I believe that's a limitation with HTML/CSS and IE. You can only do so much with the Scrollbars in IE. I'm not even sure other browsers support skinning the scrollbar.

That's what I suspected about MonkeyRok. Is the same true for Song Information Panel?
Thanks.

It's a HTML/CSS page as well, so yeah, same applies to it.

Just another small observation about the Lyrics and Comment Viewer.

Is the font bigger than in MediaMonkey and MonkeyRok?
Also. The horizonal bars that contain the words "Lyrics" and "Comment" appear to be wider than in MonkeyRok.
"Lyrics" and "Comment" is also bigger and in uppercase compared to MonkeyRok in sentence case.

Just an observation.

Once again... Great skin. :)

Lovely skin, but I think I may have found a bug. Clicking on the album art that appears in the bottom left of the display (next to the album name, for example, and artist) should open the album art at full size in the centre of the screen. On mine, at least, it opens as a tiny, tiny picture - curiously, clicking on the album art in MonkeyRok gets the expected large pic, though.
