Built-in VU Meter. Horizontal?

Post by Elmer B. Fuddled »

Is it possible to have the built-in VU Meter running horizontally? I can move it about to my hearts content but have not yet found which setting to change, or to what, yet in the settings.ini file.

TIA Elmer.

(I'm building a skin based on the Zenith radios of yesteryear, horizontal would fit in v. v. nicely.)

what kind of vumeter you looking to do? one like the vu meter skin i made for mm 3 ? or any of the other skins i made with a vumeter in?

or you looking to do sideways led lights. like i put in some of my skins for mm 3 like the estatic hi fi skin

if you look at those skin's msz file you will see they are different images used to make the horizontal ones.

:D

I'm looking to rotate the visualisation VUMeter as used in the Glided skin volume control through 90deg.

Greetings

i try this also before some time ,but can't bring it to work ,
so i suspect it's not possible,but I'm not sure, :-?
i would like to see the possibility for a Horizontal Built-in VU Meter in MM4
more than the new BuiltInSpectrum option in MM4 like it's used in the Vitreous skin!

I've managed a work around but sadly :( still not in the volume bar, that's the one I really want :)

But I'm a persistent B*st**d, I won't give up.

it's an easy thing, look in my "mm-Ultimate" i've made it just a long time ago :)

in the player/floatplayer.ini use this:

Code: Select all

[VolumeBar]
Type=TrackBar
Resizable=1,1,0,0
Pos=52,222
Size=70,6
Transperent=1
TextMask=
ThumbSize=6
[VisualizationLeft]
Type=Panel
Resizable=1,1,0,0
Pos=54,217
Size=70,5
Steps=13
[VisualizationRight]
Type=Panel
Resizable=1,1,0,0
Pos=54,217
Size=70,5
Steps=13
in the *-mskn file you ad the image for the bar (please look in my skin, you understand better looking :) )
