steegy,

I'm having a bit of trouble with this...

When I attempt to add a node, the shortcut keys never work. When I'm attempting to assign keys, if I hold down "CTRL-ALT-1", nothing happens. If I manually type Ctrl+Alt+1, it's accepted, but then pressing CTRL+ALT+1 doesn't bring me to that node - or do anything, for that matter. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, it's a MM problem that's been mentioned before. Hopefully it will get fixed in some MM3 version. Shortcut keys don't seem to work on some places (e.g. for toolbar (sub)items added by scripts).

Great script, great functionnality.

Thank you Steegy, I just discovered it and it was the missing piece I've needed.

Does this script work on the new MM 3.0 beta2?
If not, could you please update?

It doesn't work on MM3 because some internal script handling (and error handling) has been changed.
As it is now I don't think it's possible to make the script work for MM3. I'll take a good look and ask the MM devs for a re-solution.

I thought this was working the other day with mm3 rc5, however today I am unable to use favorite nodes with any 'location' node.

It still works with playlists and artist/albums etc.

the error given:
an error occured while auto-opening the specified node. Possibly, the node specification is incorrect. The node had has been opened as far as possible.

it doesn't open anything at all on the location node. wierd.

Magically started working for me in RC5. mostly use it to navigate to nodes in "my computer", which previously were not working with earlier RC's.

Hi,
is there any script that does the same as the fav node?
I searched the forum but couldn't find anything.
