Well now I am committed... I ordered my macbook pro and parallels (and a non proprietary XP SP2 OEM disk). My plan is to use parallels to run MM since I just CANNOT force myself to return to iTUNES and there is no other comparison, Songbird won't cut it. It is a different type of program, geared to online music files.
Haven't seen any further postings on this forum as to how parallels will manage evrything. I suspect I will have to use it somehow to connect my iPod to my MAC to sync all my MM files. OR build MM playlists and try to import via MAC OS/iTunes and hope it brings everything over correctly (titles/artists/cover/genre) from the external HD.
I really depend on MM features to accurately handle my data input and build playlists that are highly selective for everyone in our family, not just music but converted TiVo programs, podcasts and audiobooks. Then the next problem is getting it all synced to my iPod, only MM does everything (tagging, playlists and syncing) superbly! I bypassed Vista and agonized over my decision to leave Windows but I am just plain tired of the low quality/poor customer service issues with window based PCs. It's time ti see what MAC has to
offer...montana.granny@yahoo.com (and yes I will help pay MM developers!)
