Who's Localizing what for MM 2.4

Post by rusty »

Hi,

To coordinate localization efforts for MM 2.4, I'll try to maintain a list here of who is working on which languages.

At the moment, very few languages have been confirmed:

Czech: Jiri
French: Octopod
Russian: Shashka?
Polish: JaroU
German: onkel
Spanish: Pablo
Dutch: UI
Serbian: Peke
Italian: arg0
Greek: panos
Portuguese: Paulino?

For other languages that haven't yet been translated, it's fairly easy to do so, it just takes a bit of time (estimate: 6-8 hours). If you're interested, let me know (note: instructions re. how to localize appear in a separate post).

Languages Not Yet Translated at All:
Swedish: ??
Danish: ??
Chinese: ??
Others: ??

Thanks for your help.

I restored my Translations for 2.3 which I lost, so 2.4 translation can be done.

Few files need editing

Can anyone confirm that the tips.po and context.po require no editing (no obsolete strings, no updated strings)?

Or is my poEdit environment definitely messed up since my probs in updating DB.po? (see separate topic)

A new incoming language for MM: Greek translation

Post by Panos »

Hi all,

I have just finished the Greek translation for vers. 2.4 and have already sent it to Russell.

So, MM now has an extra language to support.

Well done Panos,

This is great. I am from Greece too and i was almost ready to do the job myself since i think a greek translation of MM was necessary.

Thank you again (Se eyxaristw poly)

Psyxonova,

your welcome...I enjoyed quite a bit doing that, because I like very much to support indepedent good programs like MM. Well, if you use the greek translation, please feel free to send me any remarks concerning my terminology. If you see anything wrong, please inform me. I have already begun the corrections, in order to take the translation to a higher level (!).
