1221 Normal Font not so Normal [Bug4294]

So, Im not sure why, but ever since moving from 1220 to 1221, the font for MediaMonkey has gotten much larger. How do I fix this?

Since 1222 Normal font size uses same DPI as your system.

My mistake its 1222.

However, I changed the DPI of my system to normal (from 125%) and mediamonkey's font did not change at all (Even after restart)

The large and extra large fonts in 1222 have increased in size. They are both too large.

The previous settings in 1220 and below were just fine (I did not install 1221).

It would be nice if instead of normal, large, extra large, you change the selection to numbers that correspond to the font pixels and allow a larger range. For example: 1,2,3,4 .. 15, 16 .. 20, etc.

I too dislike the new 'font' size. I use to have large size version 1221 and earlier and now, it's like extra large, and extra large is supersized. Can you add a new 'medium' size that compares to the old large size?

I also have problems with the new font sizing in 1222. "Normal", the smallest size is UNUSABLE in my configuration. Reverting to 1220.

I use a 1600X900 native screen resolution on my laptop.
Using Vista Home Ultimate.
I use 120dpi (Larger Scale)...everything else "default" Vista settings.
I am using Glided w/"Normal" Font

The new font scaling in MM is not usable on my system. Simply too large. I have no issues of this type with any other program. I have had no issues with previous MM versions. I actually use the "Large" MM font with previous MM versions on other XP laptops with lower native screen resolution and 120dpi.

Please revert to previous scaling scheme or make the previous "Normal" scaling available for the user in addition to this new scaling.

Update to previous post....

I looked at the mantis links and see the discussion you are having about implementing a user defined scaling scheme....

It is always good to give the user control and choice.

But in this instance could you please simply make the previous "Normal" font scaling the default so we do not have to get our heads around something else?

The default MM now looks wildly different than any other program on my system...I'm sure MM does not want to look out of place and as a user I get annoyed when global settings are changed and I am required to "relearn" something.

(I DO appreciate the attention to detail...I do use the 120dpi settings and several programs have menu/display "cutoff" issues, although these have never been anything but a slight cosmetic issue in MM)

Would this be related to what I'm seeing using 1222, that the popup text at the bottom when MM is minimized is HUGE? This started with 1222 I think but I might have missed it in 1221..

I'm using MM Ultimate skin, so it might have to do with that, so any tips where I can change this font?
