I was just wondering if there were any alternatives to MagicNodes - I have been very happy with MagicNodes but it's recently started to go very badly wrong, massively lagging MM on startup and now I can't actually edit any of my nodes without MM crashing altogether so I think it's time to look for an alternative.
I was just wondering what was out there - I had tried an alternative once and it was very light weight and generally good but it didn't seem to understand when the genre tag had multiple genres in it but I was wondering if there were any others out there.

I think that was the one I used - I'll give it a try but if I remember righly it had real trouble dealing with multiple genres.nohitter151 wrote:http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24846
Any other suggestions?

Re: Alternatives to MagicNodes?
I think that's the only script with similar functionality to magic nodes. It wouldn't make much sense to have so many scripts that achieved mostly the same effects...DunKhan wrote:I think that was the one I used - I'll give it a try but if I remember righly it had real trouble dealing with multiple genres.nohitter151 wrote:http://www.mediamonkey.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=24846

I think your best bet is to post the problems you are having in the Magic Nodes topic so that Zvezdand has an opportunity to try and fix it for you.

Re: Alternatives to MagicNodes?
Hmm ... tbh, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling MM - MagicNodes still crashes MM when used, MCN does the same thing ...
Oh well, if I get a chance to restart soonish I'll see if that helps things - if not I'll have to swallow my pride and just ask for help in the MN or MCN topic.
Thanks anyway.
