Report problems

Postby Bagpuss » Sun Jul 21, 2002 1:06 pm

This software is really cool, but I'm having problems with exporting scripts. It keeps giving me vb errors (no 1010) , even though I've installed the latest vb files as per your FAQ. I'm running windows 2000 pro, any thoughts???

It looks like there is a problem with COMDLG32.OCX on some machines. Its functionality will be probably incorporated into Songs-DB to prevent these problems. Till that time please check if COMDLG32.OCX is in place and properly registered and let me know about your results.

Thanks, Jiri.

that file is located in my winnt\system32 directory.

I don't know how to check if its registered or not.

You can execute "regsvr32 COMDLG32.OCX" in that directory. However, I don't know if it will help. Could you write the line number of the error?

I have the same problem. I've downloaded VB, registered the file, rebooted, and I still get the 1010 error. Line 40, Column 126.

(Edit: Wait, found it. Looks like there's a period where there shouldn't be. Anyway, now it gives me the error as it should be displayed, but I still can't do a script export for the same reason.)

Ok, thanks for reports, I'll try to solve it in the next version.
