Hotkey for Track Info Popup

Would it be possible to trigger the now playing track info popup with a hotkey by using a script? (the script could simply cause the popup to appear and the script could be connected to a hotkey to trigger it.)

Any hope for that? It's very handy when the DJ discovered a cool song on your computer and you'd like to know what it is.

It sounds really easy to do... but then I have no idea how to call or were to find the method that makes the popup.

I don't think it's possible though. The popup is internally handled by MM and triggers on PLAYs only.
But I like the idea, you should put that request on Wishlist forum.
