display # of items in song browser

Hi,

what I do miss within the song browser is column displying the number of songs.
e.g.: In the window Genre, line Rock'n'Roll a column telling me I have 100 songs tagged as Rock'n'Roll,
or in the windows Interpret, Tom Waits and a column telling me the number songs tagged with interpret Tom Waits
or album and number of songs per each album..

I think it is like that in winamp e.g. as far as I can remember?! And I find it very usefull especially when trying to organize tagging information and to get an overview of what I've got by different views like genres, interprets without having to select everything all the time in order to get that info..

MM always shows the number of tracks in the current view ( as well as total length of all tracks in view ) at the bottom in the status bar.

I am asking for a colomn displaying the number of songs of all lines in the song browser - the window where you can choose the display of three different views like genre, interpret and albums. It would be helpfull to see the number of songs for all the lines of genre, all interprets and albums.

I am afraid we are talking of two different things, but I dont know how to describe it differnetly. I know the status bar, but that is not what I mean, or what can provide what I am looking for since there is only one status bar, but many entries in the song browser! I am not talking of the main window with the listing of songs! I am talking of the song browser you have to select first in order to be seen. three additional colomns are displayed above the listed songs. I am talking about these three aditional colomns of the song browser.



ah - ok figured out how to include a screenshot.. this is a screenshot from winamp. this view is similar with the song browser of media monkey, but media monkey misses the information of number of songs as it is displayed in the winamp version..

I'm thinking of going from Winamp to MM4. And I am missing that feature. (I tryed searching and did not find anything other then this.)

Those numbers are really useful. I can live with out the 'no Artist' because there is 'Files to Edit'.
