Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
Bex,
Can you seee anyway to make this script differentiate between an album that has had the volume "analyzed" and an album that has had the volume "leveled?"

Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
Hi there, I've just started using this add-on and it seems that it's going to make itself indispensable. It's great!!
I'm just wondering if there is any kind of documentation to explain what all the different inconsistencies mean and how to fix them. Most of them are pretty self-explanatory but some aren't (well to my inexperienced brain anyway).
For example, the first inconsistency checked for in the Album and Person (why not Artists?) nodes is "DB Inconsistencies". What is that checking for? And "Title Starts with Vinyl number". It would be great if there was some kind of help file - or even tooltips when hovering over each of the consistency titles would be a help.

Hi kiwichick,
Most, if not everyone, of the nodes are already explained in the thread somewhere. Simply use the "search this topic..." search box in the top of the thread.
Persons = Artists, AlbumArtists, Composers, Conductors and Lyricists.
Persons - DB Inconsistencies:

Albums - DB Inconsistencies:

Title Starts with Vinyl number:
Vinylnumbering is like: A1,A2,A3 and B1,B2,B3 etc...

Can someone upload this somewhere else. Mediafire is blocked here in China. Thank you!

For those that can't find it, it's at the bottom-left of any page of this thread on the skin I'm using.Bex wrote:... use the "search this topic..." search box in the top of the thread.

Hi Bex, Sorry for late reply. Thanks for your help. That cleared a few things up.
Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
I use quite a lot the 'genre' tag on my mp3 device to browse my collection, and I hate it when I tagged differently releases of the same artist. Ex:
"music\artists\artist1\release1" > release1 is tagged Folk
"music\artists\artist1\release2" > release2 is tagged Indie Rock
Any idea how to find all the artists (parent folder 'artist1') with different 'genre' tag?
"music\artists\artist1\release1" > release1 is tagged Folk
"music\artists\artist1\release2" > release2 is tagged Indie Rock

Re: Tagging Inconsistencies 3.9.4 (2009-01-10)
Simply look under the 'Persons with ...' section for 'Multiple Genres'.
