Discography Report 2.1 - Updated 17/02/2011
There appears to be a bug in MM3 if you have the extra information option ticked. Untick this option and the script should run ok. I'll get it fixed in the next version.

Re: Discography Report 1.6 [MM2+3]
trixmoto, that script does a very nice 'polished' job. I found it quite useful but much more time consuming than if it listed what you were missing from the album and any non matches. In some cases you might have everything but there may be tag mismatches. That would be less classy but a tad more useful.
Re: Discography Report 1.6 [MM2+3]
I'll try and get this incorporated into the next version.

Any more thought gone into adding more sources into this. Ones that have a more moderated database of information, such as RateYourMusic, Discogs or MusicBrains?
Re: Discography Report 1.6 [MM2+3]
I hadn't before, but I've added it to my list.

Re: Discography Report 1.6 [MM2+3]
Awesome. That's honestly my only "big issue" with this script. Last.FM is so open, that you can end up with multiple entries for the same album solely because people have different tagging standards. Such as "Gang Related (disc 1)" & "Gang Related - The Soundtrack : Disc 1" or a strange entry like "Killer - July, 1st 2008" as opposed to "Killer." The script is good the way it is, but I think allowing a more "finely combed" source would only take it to the next level. Cut out some of the junk and get to the real meat, haha.
As for the three sources I mentioned, RateYourMusic would be a waste of time, because they have no API and no real way to navigate from searches to results and such (or at least a year or two ago when I tried doing a RYM script for MP3Tag's Tagging Framework thing). Discogs implemented and API though a while back, so it's probably the best candidate to look into. No clue on what MusicBrainz offers.
Either way, I eagerly anticipate seeing what you can do with an update to this script, and numerous other scripts of yours.

Re: Discography Report 1.7 - Updated 11/01/2010
New version (1.7) is now available to download from my website. Changes include...
- Removed old MM2 code to improve performance
- Fixed encoding of url to include larger character range
- Added some fuzzy matching to album name
- Added duplicate check within results list
- Fixed extra information not using album artist for query
- Added check for album featuring artist as well
- Added update server to installation package.
I have not added any other sources, I took a look and couldn't find one that was easy to implement in the way that this script works. However, I have attempted to tidy up the results, so hopefully the script returns better results now.

Re: Discography Report 1.7 - Updated 11/01/2010
And create "Songs Report"? songs that you havent of the selected artists?
Re: Discography Report 1.7 - Updated 11/01/2010
There is no webservice for getting all of the songs that an artist has done. There's one which returns the top 50 (based on popularity) so I guess a report could be built based on this to suggest if you have any of the popular ones missing, but it certainly wouldn't be a complete list. It also wouldn't help you find the more obscure tracks, which is most likely what I'd have thought the purpose of the script really was.
