Playlists expanded when MM opens

Not a big deal but this is a bit annoying. In the last week or so, my playlist node is always expanded when MM starts. Is there a way to fix this?

MediaMonkey remembers the last node you were in when you exit MediaMonkey (properly). I don't think this behavior can be changed.

TweakMonkey should be able to help you with your startup Tree Node.

Look under:
Tools > Options > TweakMonkey & Script Options > Tree Node Options.

I'm experiencing this also. Another case of, "I thought it was just me". When I exit MM properly with the playlists not expanded MM always starts with the node expanded. When this happens I also get the white box in the lower left corner of the tree bug. I might try tweakmonkey to solve the problem but this is something that shouldn't be happening in the first place.

Tried Tweak Monkey...Playlists node is still expanded when starting MM even though in TM I do not have it checked. Still a mystery.

That's good to know. Now I don't have to go through the pain of installing, finding out that it doesn't help and then uninstalling. The thing that gets me is ,that like you, the problem is a recent development. Up untill the last few releases the problem didn't exist.

I figured out, that the "randomize playlist" extension expands the playlist node on mediamonkey startup.
So if you have installed this script that's probably the cause.

I don't think so, I have that extension installed and my Playlist node is not expanded on start up.

Thanks that seems to have worked. As soon as I uninstalled that script the playlist were not expanded when starting MM. I do wish I was still able to use "Randomize Playlist" though.

nohitter, do you have the most recent version of the script installed? I haven't had time to test but my problems might have started when an update was released a little over 2 1/2 months ago.

Looks like you're right, I have 1.1 installed but 1.2 is the most recent version.

I was on 1.1 also and when I upgraded to 1.2 I now see this behavior and I also have Tweakmonkey installed, so back to 1.1 I go. Someone should post this into the Randomise Playlist topic so that Trixmoto is aware of this behavior.
