What version of windows are you using? I've had similar problems and now open MM with "Run as administrator" and everything now works as it should. Worth a try.

Hello,

Very nice and usefull script. It's the reason why I changed to MM. However, for some reason I cannot get the library filter to work.
It always takes tracks from my whole library instead of the filtered one. Any idea why?

Well at the moment it should only select an album which has tracks in the filter, but then will play every track from the album regardless of whether or not they are in the filter. I plan to add an option to filter the album tracks as well in the next version.

Well, that's my problem. It also select an album which has no tracks in the filter.
I assum i'm doing something wrong because nobody else has the problem, but don't know what I'm doing wrong.
In short this is what I did: I ran the mmip file, selected the auto album as an input for the auto dj and set my configuration with the wanted filter.

Ok it seems it was my bad. I've set the min tracks to 2 and it didn't work. When I increased it to 4 it works perfectly!
This script will change my way of listening to music

Hi there - I'm just trying to install v3.8 but I keep getting an 'Installation Error' message but no other information. Could anyone help me find out what the problem is please? I'm running MM 3.2.2.1300 on Windows Vista. No previous version of Auto Album DJ is installed.

OK - answering my own question (above)! I saw the comment in trixmoto's sig above and tried that (starting MM in admin mode) which sorted the problem.

All I'm getting is installation error when I try and install the 3.8 update (currently on 3.6)

Is there a way to manually install it by copying it to the scripts folder?
