Pausing seems to be a plausible cause. I can't test as it no longer scrobbles here.

Ah, sorry -- somehow I missed your previous note.

If anymore info is needed, let me know.

I am also having issues since I upgraded to the 4.xx versions of MM. No scrobbling, I updated everything last night, and still nothing is scrobbling.

I am experiencing the same errors as the above screenshot. If I open my old 3.xx version, scrobbler works perfectly fine.

I am using windows 7x64 Any thoughts would be great.

:( Why it works for me then (as 1.0.2.24 is made on x64 Win 7)?

Do you have IE9?

Errors in Options dialog: Do you have active collections/Filters?

Error in 404 line means that MM do not have enough access right to Open last.fm log in default text editor.

is it possible that Cyrillic username is making problems? (C:\Users\Администратор\AppData\Roaming\MediaMonkey

Okay, after installing it again it now works for me. I don't understand why though. I tried several things before but they didn't work and I don't think I did anything different this time... Maybe a combination of several settings?

FWIW, I ran MM as administrator (option set as 'always run as admin' in Windows), unchecked 'install for this user only' after dragging it on the player. That's on Ultimate 64bit.

Edit : excluding tracks under the 'submission rules' breaks it though.

To me it is also very interesting
Peke wrote:Do you have IE9?
IE8, but the default is Firefox.
Peke wrote:Errors in Options dialog: Do you have active collections/Filters?
Nothing

I have a super administrator rights on win7. The default text editor Notepad.
I can not imagine the reasons for this error. It seems that there is no log file is never created.

I'm on Vista and it doesn't work for me either. The log file seems to have crashed or something as it still reports with the start-up from March 3rd. I've repeatedly tried to clear that cache but that was of no help. Also, re-installs as administrator didn't help...

Setting the Media Monkey exe file to run as an adminstrator did the trick for me. I'm running Win 7 32 bit.

In addition to my previous mentioned double-scrobbles-on-pause issue, I'm now seeing a lot of my listens being re-dated to March 3rd. In other words, the song I'm listening to now is getting scrobbled as if it were March 3rd. Checked obvious things like the system clock. Not quite sure what's going on.

Running Win 7/64-bit, IE9 beta installed, MM4 1353, last.fm 1.0.2.24.

Same sort of thing is happening here. I'm getting around 1 in every 20 tracks scrobbled, which are all dated to random dates anywhere from the correct time, to yesterday and even several months ago.

Windows 7 x64, IE9 installed, MM4 1355, last.fm 1.0.2.24
