Re: MM4 Wishlist
MM can do that.
$RemovePrefix(string) removes the prefixes set under Tools > Options > Appearance from the string.
$If(<Album>,<Album>\,) will create an album folder if album value is present and not when it isn't present.

Ok, to clarify, I know Case Checker is there and always has been there, but how about options for Case Checker, like the "Case and Leading Zero Checker" addon script offers?

Re: MM4 Wishlist
So you're asking for something that already exists.
The idea behind MediaMonkey is that it's flexible and that you can add functionality through addons. Instead of bogging down the main program the user can decide which functionality needs to be added by adding addons. And this case there really is no difference as both addons are scripts.

Re: MM4 Wishlist
I guess my point is, that if MM4 is going to include a case checker, it should have options to customize it.

Cool - does that apply to exporting files to a device too?
Just haven't got mine at hand...

Re: MM4 Wishlist
I suggest that you have a look a the Desination options in the MM4 builds. It becomes possible to define the path to the music files by attributes in MM such as <folder>.

Re: MM4 Wishlist
1. Another vote for the ability to SAVE the LAYOUT... It is annoying and time-consuming to have to go through all of the work to set it up just as you like it only for it to revert if the program crashes (or a new version comes out!!!) Since MM4 has already rolled out, can this be included in the next update/build? ( say v. 4.0.0.1460)?

Re: MM4 Wishlist
For us gold members who now have "Music Collections" feature:
Be able to edit Music Collection "Type" requirements. For example, I'd like to add both genres "Classical" and "Opera" to the "Classical Music" Type (currently requires kludgy genre work-around).
By the way, upgrading from MM3 to MM4 breaks any auto playlists (and I assume non-auto as well) for classical music, since the "Search" field must be manually changed to "Classical Music". I feel this should've been automated by the upgrade.
Thanks for enhancing classical music features!

How could MM have known which playlists were classical vs those that were not?palmcrash wrote:I feel this should've been automated by the upgrade.

Re: MM4 Wishlist
Field "genre" = "classical". Or, the upgrade could simply update all playlists to refer to "entire library".nohitter151 wrote:How could MM have known which playlists were classical vs those that were not?palmcrash wrote:I feel this should've been automated by the upgrade.
