"tuneupmedia.com"..........................Anybody know of it, or used it?????? If so, what's your take on it, and is it any good?

I just read about it, in the June 2011 issue of Popular Science magazine................

Used for " cleaning up", and "de-dupe-ing" your music library, and acquiring cover art.

naturally, there's a free trial version, and pay version.

Sound off, iffn' ya' know of it please.

Thanks!....................Most of what you focused on, was WELL over my head, and I don't like, ( or even wish to use, I-Tunes!), but the main reason I was curious, is the abundance of "various artists", and "unknown artists" tracks, that I have in my Library.

I THOUGHT, that what I read, ( in Popular Science), and on the site, ( Tuneupmedia), as well, was that it would work with a
P C as well...................

Is this not so?

It does work on PC but when I tried it they only supported iTunes.

Evidently they have released a Winamp plugin which could potentially work with MediaMonkey.

YOWZA!!!!....................28 pages on that thread!!!.......................So, does it work, do the job EASILY, as all the posts I scanned, showed that a quite "intuitive nature", with computers, might be required??????

I've tried Music IP Tagger too... It took SOOOOOO long to analyze my tracks that I kinda gave up on it.

I think it's cool. It LOOKS cool. Just haven't used it.

It's super easy to use, just select any set of files and let it run on them. It needs to do fingerprinting of the audio so it will take a while, but in the end it will automatically find the tags of many files without user intervention.

I think I'll give it a try again since I've kind of changed how I manage my music... It's all local now. I don't port it about.
