Is it possible and is there a field to set the key of a song?
Bm Cm etc.

The MM database does indeed have the song key field (or at least it did in a version of 3.2) but it is not displayed on the UI or any of the other search panels.

This is unfortunate 'cause it'd be really handy to us DJs.

The field CAN be populated by programs such as Traktor and Mix by Key and it will populate it in the ID3 tags so it's usable in programs that really leverage that value.

I'd like to see that field become visible in the details panel. Just sayin'.

Yes that's the reason I am asking, maybe we can do a request.
I tried a alternative field like comment 1/5 but the tag values are not displayed in Traktor comment fields.

I TRIPLE the request for a SONG KEY field or a least let me customize a field and call it SONG KEY. I'm a guitar teacher and would love to be able to sort my music by SONG KEY as I teach keys migrating up the neck of the guitar. I do it now by customizing a field in MS Media Player. Please MM tell me it's coming in the next Rev. for us musicians and DJs. Thanks for listening.

You can use one of the Custom fields to add your custom information.

This is definately something I'd like to see. Especially since it's becoming supported now in most DJ related software such as Traktor and Pioneer's recordbox. Having software like mixed-in-key place it in the comment tag is a clunky solution that shouldn't be necessary when it's already part of the ID tag anyway.

I see there has been some discussion of adding support for the Initialkey tag in MM. Can I add my voice to this request please. I have a large collection of traditional fiddle tunes where the key is a really important feature - I use MM all the time to organise and play my collection - I bought the gold version several years ago - but it would be really nice to be able to list the tunes by their key. I could use a custom tag, but it would be much more elegant to use the one that i there for this purpose.
