I dont know who moved my previous post, "LastFM Integration Like Clementine and Songbird" or why it was moved into this post,"What I like in media players"?

I had created as a seperate post item because it only focuses on the LastFM element of Skyean's post and I thought it should be treated seperately and as a single wishlist item.

Could it be moved back please or have I inadvertently broken a posting rule?

Thanks
I propose to move my "LastFM Integration Like Clementine and Songbird", as it is a single issue, unless there is a valid reason for doing so.

Thanks

I think it's unlikely that MediaMonkey will add native Last.FM integration, seems to go against the MM philosophy. Even the scrobbler is an add-on. I think this would be better suited for the Add-Ons forum. Maybe someone would be willing to write a script to do this.

When we started on making MM Plugin Last.fm licensing were different adn by Releasing Scrobbling API 2.0 things are changed. It is much easier to integrate last.fm into Freeware app than in apps like MM.

We are looking into ways to integrate things much better.

@Peke

many thanks for the feedback.

I suspect i may have gotten my terminology wrong??? When I say integrate i mean to have an addon availabe in line with the details I mentioned in my previous posts.

I wouldn't know about the licensing side of things but appreciate that what seems like a simple enough request will often have layers of complexity to be resolved before any solution could be proposed or implemented.

Encouraged to hear it is being looked at though and really hope to see MM have this functionality either integrated or via addon

cheers

ps - Peke would it be ok if I start a fresh post to cover this LastFm question of mine, as I feel it is somewhat "buried" in this post??
