OK the new Apple Remote 2.0 for iPhone/iPod/iPad came out today and broke MonkeyTunes. Please update to MonkeyTunes 1.3.2!

I just tested the newest version of MonkeyTunes and Apple Remote 2.0 and together they're awesome. Finally I can use the whole iPad screen to conveniently search and select music.

Actually that's what I bought an iPad for in the first place. But I didn't expect Apple to take so long to release an iPad version. So I had to wait 5 month for Apple and a few hours for Melloware They literally fixed everything that wasn't working on the iPad overnight.

There are a few things you apparently cannot do with the new Remote 2.0 under MediaMonkey/MonkeyTunes, like playing back movies or TV, but it's the perfect remote for my large music collection. And fast....

One drawback of the Remote app is the way Apple handles it's "Now Playing" list, because for whatever strange reasons they show you the album of the currently playing track instead of the actual "Now Playing" list. But there's a remedy for that in the latest version of MonkeyTunes, it simply uses the "Titles" menu to display the "Now Playing" list from MM and I tested it with 5000 tracks, hehe

Another great feature is the Search, it's fast and the results are sorted by Albums, Artists and Titles (i.e. our current Now Playing list !!), which makes searching for music even more convenient and quicker than in MM itself.

I still a some issue.
I'm using
- Media Monkey 3.2.0.1294 (free version)
- Monkeytunes 1.4.5.0
- TunesRemote+

When i try to queue a track, it add correctly the track but MediaMonkey play the first song of the current play list.
Then if i try to queue a second track, it acts correctly (no first track replay)
then i use the "next" button on TunesRemote+ (ok, it goes to the next track)
At this point, if i try to queue another track, the first track of the list is played...

It's like the bug is not completely fixed.

Is it a knows issue ? Can i do something to fixe it ?

That defect is in the TunesRemote+ software not in MonkeyTunes. I would create a new ticket here:

Huge difference! MonkeyTunes lets you do everything iMonkey can't. Browse your library, add songs to the now playing tracks, search your library....

iMonkey was a native iPhone app I wrote first. But then I had so many users saying "make it more like Apple Remote..." so MonkeyTunes is the next generation because it IS Apple Remote!

I don't think that is a bug but do me a favor and right click on the MonkeyTunes treenode and do View Log file and look for the MediaMonkey version and the MonkeyTunes version in the top of the file. I would also recommend posting on our forums rather than here:
