Is there a way to install BOTH 'stable' and 'beta' versions?

I would like to help out with testing the new MM4, but I do not want to 'corrupt' the current MM3 version. Can I have BOTH versions installed. If so please point me to the procedure as to how I can set up a 'dual MM' environment.

Also is there a current 'estimate' on the current 'release date' for MM4?

Simplest is to install MM4 in 'Portable' mode, in a temp directory. That way it won't make any changes to your system.

So I only need to select the 'Temp' folder and run the installer for the beta and it will not affect the other mm3 version?
I do have all my playlists, music and database backed up just in case, I somehow make an error.
Sorry for my ignorance.

Yes, when installing make sure you select a different folder to install in and make sure you select the Portable Install option.

Works. Thanks I did not realize there was a 'portable' option on the installer.
