Analyze volume problem/Files to be tagged

Postby kingw323 » Mon Feb 27, 2012 1:37 pm

When I am analyzing my tracks it seems to be working correctly, but it gets stuck on files to be tagged. The volume levels show up at first but if i exit and re-open media monkey, some tracks are missing the volume levels... usually the first track of an album. It's like it finishes analyzing the album, but fails to tag the last track. This has been very frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.

Which version of MediaMonkey? How many files are you analyzing at one time, what file type and does MediaMonkey have rights to modify the files?

I am using MM4. I initially analyzed my entire library of about 2,300 songs. Now i have only been doing one album at a time. It completes analysis and adds the track and album volume levels for that album. It then tags the files, but gets stuck on 1 file to be tagged. The next time I open MM, usually the first track is missing volume levels. All the files are either m4a or mp3. I'm not sure about the rights to modify. I shouldn't have any trouble modifying m4a and mp3 files should I? Thanks.

Rights are set in Windows and may be missing (although if on track is not tagged it is unlikely).

You may want to send a debug log (step 4b) to support for the failure to tag the first file: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69
