Considering how flaky album art has been on my ios 4.x ipod touch, and it has been hit or miss, an artless beta won't bother me.

Post by gekosurf »

It's the reason I bought media monkey in the first place. For my iPhone, previously IOS4.

if you downloaded the beta release, it would be very helpful if you post your experiences, etc.. in the beta testing section of the forum. It should help the developers

Hi, the failed detection could be caused by missing QuickTime, so ensure that you have QuickTime installed.

Quick Time ist installed, V7.1.

An iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3.3 is detected and syncs with no problems 4S with 5.0 not detected. Both are detected under Computer and in iTunes...

IOS5 and Iphone 4S is not detected. It works in the computer and Itunes. Quicktime 7.7.1 is installed as well.

I posted in the testing thread as well. I have an iPhone 4 on IOS 5.1, Quicktime 7.7.1 and Windows 7 64-bit. So far I have been able to view the files on the iPhone and transfer from MediaMonkey to the iPhone successfully, including the artwork. Great work, guys.

I am no computer expert, so there's nothing fancy about my setup. I have just followed directions. I have done some Media Monkey beta testing and have had some problems in the past, so I haven't had a perfect track record with testing upgrades. I am very happy that I will once again be able to abandon iTunes, which I have only half-heartedly used in the past.
