I have the same problem but it resulted after I turned off my Tascam Dr-40 recorder before ejecting it while it was still plugged in via usb port. I was not playing any files with the player at the time and i powered off the recorder manually after closing the explorer window like i've done in the past. MEdia monkey just won't load now just like how he describes. The start screen flashes for a brief second then disappears with the icon remaining in the lower left corner until you wave the mouse over it. Not sure if it's a virus but that's the only thing that happened that I would think could have affected it.

I had the same problem. First I did the dll file rename, and it worked...but although I don't have an Iphone, I wondered what crippling that file does. So I renamed it back to its proper name and then I used a third part uninstaller for Quicktime AND ran a registry cleaner which found traces of QT all over the place. Then MM worked again. Seems from what I've found out on these forums is that "corrupted" installs or uninstalls of Quicktime is quite common.

I scanned my pc for malware. Avast and malwarebytes found nothing. Executing MM in Sandbox was the same. After installing older Version MM3.2 there was a error report for i_phone.dll

Deleting Quick Time fixed it for me, too. :) I'm totally hopeless at anything technical. Kept trying the same fixes repeatedly without any luck and had almost given up. Thanks so much, guys!

On Saturday, I updated to the latest version of Quicktime and apparently this caused Media Monkey to stop working.

By renaming the iPhone dll fixed the problem.

I rename the d_iphone.dll to off.d_iphone.dll and nothing happens... MM doesnt start...
What am I doing wrong?

Have anybody an idea what i can do?

It's better to rename it d_iphone.dll.off.

To rename the .dll files doesnt fix my problem... has anybody an idea?
