Are you referring to the way that it advances to an out of order track when you hit "Update & Next Song (Alt+Right)" from the track properties dialog box?
Devs, does this fix address this aspect of the bug? Are they related?

Here are the posts where we discuss it. And I PM'd a video of it to Lowlander.

It's a different known bug.

Ah, good to know! Either it still needs to be addressed on here as it's related to sorting, or a more specific catagory heading (not sure what) needs to be created/found. As some on here are dealing with the same issue, any ideas?

Issue you're mentioned is related to Summary sort. When sorted by any other collumn(s), this is not an issue.

Note: I assume the out of order Update & Next bug (in the Properties dialog) that's being referred to is: http://www.ventismedia.com/mantis/view.php?id=9090

Exactly! But what is the status of addressing this issue on Mantis? (I'm not too familiar on how that site operates!) Is it solely for MM? How is it used in conjunction with the forum and wiki?

And thanks for pointing out the Update & Next/Previous forum. The problem is that little seems to have been discussed on the issue. Why isn't there more on this? Surely most must be experiencing this!

9090# is definitely on our radar, and we're working on a fix, but it's going to be included in 4.1 rather than 4.0.5 since the fix involves some changes that are likely to introduce regressions.

Good to know it's in hand. :) But by regressions do you mean additional issues or some kind of coding reversal? Whichever it is, is it too early for any detail on that? Just a hint!

This bug appears to be fixed in build 1490 for me. Nice work! And thanks.

Uh? :-? Do you mean v.4.0.3.1490? I have 4.0.3.1476, which, as far as I can tell, is the latest. If not, then what, where and how? :o

Nice one! :D I've subscribed as suggested. But how does beta testing affect/restrict etc. an unlimited licence when installing over the top? Also, I noticed that there is a Debug version available as well. I've used one before and can't understand why the debug features aren't included as standard. What am I overlooking? :-?

It doesn't affect in any way. Your license is valid in beta builds as well. The debug version is slightly slower due to bug reporting, but otherwise both are the same. The user is given a choice as to which version they want to use.

Thanks for clearing that up. One more thought springs to mind: if a Debug version is installed, will the next full/alpha version install over the top considering the file names are different, or will a clean old fashioned uninstallation need to be done first? :)

Both install the exact same way, so you can install debug on top of regular and regular on top of debug.
