Subject pretty much says it all. I followed the knowledgebase article on sharing MM.db across two installs of MediaMonkey, and it's reading the library perfectly but I'm getting some glitches. Here's what I've got:
1. My main desktop, with approximately 26,000 mp3s stored in a single shared folder on a 1TB 7200rpm drive. MM.db is in the top level of this folder.
2. A jukebox machine, basically a mini laptop running nothing but MediaMonkey connected to a set of stereo speakers built into an old 1950s console stereo. This is a temporary solution until some hardware arrives, but I need it to work for next weekend.
Files were scanned into the library from \\machine_name\path\. Both machines are able to see the full library just fine, but both machines are throwing SQL errors, which look to be a result of trying to update the "times played" field in the database. Both machines will still continue playing music also, but the constant errors are very annoying.
I'm assuming this is a permissions issue of some sort, but the knowledgebase article didn't explain much about permissions other than "open MediaMonkey to make sure it works".
Would greatly appreciate some help solving this particular challenge.
