This is a mild annoyance, but I have a few single-track albums. All tracks have been volume analysed, and I've always had the "analyse album volume" option enabled. However, some of those tracks have been assigned an album volume, while others have not.
To my mind, the fact that the album has only a single track makes no difference: it still has a volume, and the metadata of that single track should reflect that.
Is there a way to get the album volume to all tracks, or is this a potential bug? Thanks!
Album volume with single-track albums

Re: Album volume with single-track albums
I guess it's because there are other tracks (in another location/folder) with the same Album Title.simonbrads wrote:However, some of those tracks have been assigned an album volume, while others have not.
Check it with: Right-click a track-->Find More From Same-->Album.
When analysing volume, MM needs all tracks of an album to be selected, to assign the Album Volume.

No, that's definitely not the case. Thanks for the suggestion, though.
Re: Album volume with single-track albums
No, Album Volume can't be calculated on single track Albums. It's not needed as Track Volume has the same value.

Re: Album volume with single-track albums
It definitely can be calculated, because MM has done it for at least one of my single-track albums.
(Yes, it has exactly the same value as the one track.)
Re: Album volume with single-track albums
It doesn't need to be calculated in the first place as it is the Track Volume value. MediaMonkey doesn't do it (and never did for me), because it isn't needed as Track Volume can be used. And yes, being particular about tags myself I've missed it too, but it isn't needed.
