Song volume way too low

I recently built a new computer and installed MM on it, then copied my old library files over. For whatever reason, songs in MM play very quietly. Just a minute ago I had a youtube song up and it was extremely loud, but with volume maximized in MM right now I can barely hear the song that is playing.

Any idea why this might be happening, or what I could do to fix it?

No, it doesn't. I searched almost every setting.

Have you made sure your MediaMonkey Volume isn't set very low? Right click on the MediaMonkey tray icon and make sure Volume is set to 100%.

ok, it has nothing do to with MM. Same volum problem when i play a file in Windows Media Player. I guess it has something to do with the audio card configuration.

Have you made sure your MediaMonkey Volume isn't set very low? Right click on the MediaMonkey tray icon and make sure Volume is set to 100%.

Lowlander, I just checked this and the Volume was set to 60%. After changing it to 100%, song volume sounds normal again!

After I installed MM on my new computer I did a fresh install of MM, so I guess by default that Volume is set to 60%? I looked through the menus in MM but did not see a Volume option anywhere. It's really sneaky hiding it in the system try icon, which I had never thought to right click

Actually volume can be controlled from the Player in most skins. However the only standardized access (no matter what skin) is through the tray icon which is why I send you there.

It took me a while searching before I came across your post. Mine was set to 10% so I could hardly hear anything. I have no idea why it got changed ... I am pretty certain it was not me.
