Backup

Post by paquillo »

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and the first thing I do is to apologize to everyone for my bad English.
I'm cataloging my music collection with all the information about each song, such as ... artist name, title, year, etc.. etc. which is costing me a lot of work to do it and for that reason I would not want if for some reason I have to format the pc, all that work is lost, and my question is ...
Is there any way to save or backup with all that information so that it can recover after formatting?

Thank you and greetings.

You'll need to backup your media files (which by default will contain most tags) and you can backup the MediaMonkey database, which will contain all tags and Playlists: http://www.mediamonkey.com/support/inde ... ticleid=65

With just a backup of the DB you have a backup of all music data (not the music files though).
